Vamumusa has a Btech in Extraction Metallurgy. Also went through the Black Management Forum, Development Program. He started his career as an in-service training student at Woestalleen Colliery and later moved to Anglo American Polokwane Smelter where he completed his second part of his in-service training.
After completing his Btech studies in 2009 he joined Anglo American Platinum where he went through the Anglo Graduate Development Program (AGDP), where modules in Mineral Processing, Hydrometallurgy and Pyrometallurgy were covered. After completing the AGDP in 2011 he was appointed at as Process Metallurgist at the Anglo American Amendelbult Concentrators where he also had opportunities to act as a Plant Manager and a Technical Superintendent .
In 2014 Vamumusa moved to Glencore Eland Concentrators as a Metallurgist. Here he was involved in the commissioning of the ISC ore which was done to improve the plant running time as well as the introduction of Sodium Silicate on the Primary and Secondary Roughers to reduce depressant cost, improve froth mobility as well as well we plant recoveries. Before plant closure he was acting as the plant Technical Superintendent.
Vamumusa then moved to Magotteaux in 2015, where is currently an Account Manager responsible for Multi-business, mining and cement business for Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Malawi and Tanzania. Here Vamumusa is managing sales and client relationships, budgeting, developing new business just to name a few. He is also the project leader for Ground Engaging Tools (GET) for the Africa region.
